no jewellery, apart from watches, should be worn

bullying

We believe that all students have the right to be educated in an enviroment were they feel safe.
Bullying is when someone deliberatly goes out of there way to hurt someone else. It is also taunting or name-calling as well as damaging a persons property, clothing or school work. It is ganging up on someone snd insulting them.

Any student who bullies another by acting in any of these ways will be delt with.

ALL REPORTED INCIDENTS WILL BE INVESTIGATED!

If you think your being bullied tell someone.

punctuality

Punctuality is an important part of self discipline and is enssentail to good time manigment.

If youarrive between 9.05am and 11.20am then you muist sign in at Student Services. You will be marked late in the redgester and will need a note explaining the reason for late arrival.

attendance

The proper place for you to be on a school day is school. If you are not in school then you should have a good reason and your parents should telephone the school office before 8:40am on the first day of absense. If you are going to be away from school for more than 3 days then your parents must send a written note to the school explaing why. You should always bring a note from your parents when you return to school after being sick.

Parents are reqested not to arrange holidays during term time. Where this is unaviodable, requests for leave of absense should be made writing well in advance of date.

eat better do better

All schools have to follow guidelines about the food that can be served to pupils.
Plain water is very important to hydrate pupils insted of sugary, sweetened or fizzy drinks that can cause tooth decay. In lesson times pupils are only aloud to drink plain water.

to all the new pupils you are expected to have a water bottle from school for 50p to drink during the day and lessons. Fresh water to top up will be available during lunchtimes.
